NATIONAL PROJECT "GREEN LAND"

With the President's Decree No. PF-46 of 12.30.2021 "On measures to accelerate greening works in the Republic, more effective organization of tree protection", the nationwide project "Green Land" will be implemented throughout the country.

The project aims to increase tree plantations and includes:

  • improvement of the management system in the field of tree planting and care;
  • carrying out research and analysis aimed at determining the soil-climate and other characteristics of the regions based on scientific approaches, and as a result, developing a map of the republic in the cross-section of the regions;
  • increasing the number of nurseries, localizing foreign ornamental trees suitable for the climate of the regions, taking into account soil fertility;
  • establishment of "green land" and "green public land" in the regions;
  • revising the tree irrigation system, ensuring its effective operation;
  • designation of persons responsible for the care of each tree, wide introduction of incentive mechanisms in this regard;
  • strengthening responsibility for damage and destruction of trees, increasing public control in this direction.

Under the leadership of faculty deans and tutors, together with the activists of the group, a total of 22 paulownia bushes and 20 spruce trees were planted in the faculty building within the current 40-day framework of the national project "Green land", which is ongoing in our country. For information, the faculty building has more than 15 types of trees (juniper, chestnut, maple, paulownia, apricot, cherry, date, walnut, quince, apple) and a total of more than 200 ornamental and fruit trees. has been adding to the clean air and beauty of the city for years.

The team of the Andijan machine-building Institute also contributes. On November 22, 2021, 200 vine seedlings were planted in the territory of the building of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering and the 2nd student residence. Before that, 1000 pomegranate bushes and 120 ornamental paulownia trees were planted.

The saplings were planted by active young people of the primary organization of the Institute, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, under the leadership of Umid Mukhtaraliyevich, the rector of the institute. Within the framework of the "Green Land" national project, seedling planting will continue.

Theteam of our institute participated in the Eco action within the framework of the 1st anniversary of the Eco Park and the Green Space nationwide project in Andijan. Under the leadership of the rector of the institute, the leaders of the Youth Union of the institute contributed to the enrichment of the Eco Park with trees.
