November 18 - mass running marathon in Andijan city dedicated to the "Day of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan" under the motto "New Breath" "We will run together in one homeland, at one time, with one goal, in fifteen cities of Uzbekistan". The marathon started near the 48th secondary school on Uzbekiston Street in Andijan and ended near the regional information and library center named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. Professors, teachers, workers and students took part in the marathon under the leadership of Umid Turdialiev, rector of the Andijan Machine-Building Institute.

Saving a person's life is often linked to the process of blood transfusion. And blood is not produced in chemical laboratories, it is a priceless gift of the human body. It is only with the help of kind people that patients in serious condition can be resuscitated and life can be added to their lives. It is heartening that the number of people doing such a worthy deed has been increasing in recent years. Moreover, the increase in various campaigns and promotional activities on the benefits of donations motivates more people to join the good cause. The decision of the head of our state of August 9, 2022 "On measures for further improvement of the work of blood service institutions in the republic and development of voluntary donation among the population" serves as a program. It should be noted that in order to ensure the implementation of the decision, a charitable action "I am a donor" is organized annually. Professors and students of Andijan Machine Building Institute actively participate in the blood donation action and contribute to the worthy cause. For the first time voluntary donors were registered in this process. Doctors of blood transfusion station informed students about the process of blood collection, requirements to blood donors and their rights, observance of sanitary and hygienic rules, as well as the purpose of this action. According to the information, it is absolutely safe to donate blood to a healthy person. The reason is that blood in the human body is usually 4.5-5 liters, and 200 or 400 ml is taken from it. The body has the ability to fully restore the reduced amount of blood within 36 hours. Most importantly, blood donation is important for the prevention of arterial hypertension, improving metabolism and strengthening immunity.
