The purpose of the department is the prevention of offenses among the faculty and staff of the Institute, as well as the implementation in identified cases of general and individual preventive measures, and in cases not covered by the law, the submission of documents to law enforcement agencies. within the limits of authority.

Andijan Machine-building Institute officially launched its anti-corruption activities on the basis of Rector's Order № 297 dated July 1, 2020, and on May 17, 2021, there was established anti-corruption department of "compliance-control". It is envisaged that the head of the department and the chief specialist will work in accordance with the staff schedule. In January 2023 for the first time in the republic at the department developed the legal and scientific foundations of the fight against corruption in the system of protection of information, from April this year the post of leading specialist was introduced into the staff of the department, and IT-specialist was hired.

The main objectives of the department includes the prevention of offenses, including corruption among faculty and staff of the Institute and its subordinate educational institutions, the content of the decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field, the orders of the Ministry and the Institute effective communication to the faculty and staff, the development and practical implementation of regulatory documents, conducting general and individual preventive measures on detected cases, law

The recruitment process was monitored, and interviews with newly hired faculty and staff were arranged. A letter of assurance from supervisors, a letter of warning from subordinates, and information (declarations) on conflicts of interest from all are issued.

Official documents of the Ministry of Education and Culture, orders received are under review by the anti-corruption department.

In the years 2021-2023 in order to prevent corruption in the institute and its educational institutions, the department brought to the discussion of the Academic Council of the Institute 9 questions, conducted activities, surveys, essay competitions.

On the initiative of the Institute, according to the order of the Ministry № 281 of June 29, 2021, it was decided to organize student-youth anti-corruption clubs in all universities of our country. October 14, 2021, launched its activities "Student-Youth Anti-Corruption Club of the Andijan Machine-building Institute", which was among the first.

There were no criminal cases related to corruption at the institute in 2019-2022. On May 13, 2022, an institute tutor was arrested by the DDIA while returning $5,000 he received as a bribe while working at another job. In September 2022, the employee was found guilty under Articles 168 (fraud), 211 (bribery), and 28 (participants in a crime) of the Criminal Code.

During the past period, disciplinary action was taken against 4 senior staff, more than 20 professors, teachers and employees, based on the results of investigations conducted by the Compliance Control Department of the Andijan Machine-building Institute.

As a result of systematically carried out preventive measures it was possible to increase the responsibility of managers and to pay serious attention to the sphere. The results of the year 2022 were summed up and the deans of the departments "Engineering Technology", "Electrical Engineering" and "Automotive Engineering", the departments "External Relations", "Personnel and Quality Control of Education", "Humanities" received the highest scores on the rating indicators, Departments "Labor Protection" and "EEE", individual heads of the institute, S. Isayev, R. Yusupova, advisor to the rector on women's issues, and I. Kobulov, leader of the Youth Union were awarded valuable gifts and cash prizes.
