AndMI organizes events that are open to the general public, such as public lectures, public education events, conferences, seminars, book fairs, contests, etc. topics and aimed at a general audience.
The purpose of such activities is to provide a channel to reinforce lessons learned in the classroom, to allow students to apply academic skills in a real-world context, and thus to be part of a well-rounded education.
In addition, various activities will be held to raise awareness among them about the relevant topic, covering the poor and various population representatives of our district.
"Leadership and youth" meeting was held at Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Automotive Engineering and Economics. In a meeting held far from officialdom, the rector of the institute, Umid Turdialiyev, heard directly from the students themselves about some of the problems encountered in the process of education, as well as measures to eliminate them. He also listened to the proposals and initiatives expressed by the students. During the meeting, students were advised to stay away from such dangers as information attack, laziness, indifference, instability, timelessness, and depression, which are today's problems. After the lesson, he spoke in detail about such issues as clubs that can be used in free time, rational use of existing infrastructures, and material support.
Andijan Mechine Building Institute is actively participating in the Green Space project. In all parts of our country, within the framework of the "Green Space" nationwide project, the autumn planting season has been started, and public gatherings are being organized. "New Uzbekistan - we will live together in the territory of green space!" Autumn planting season continues from October 25 to December 1 of this year. Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering is also actively involved in these beautification and landscaping works. Yesterday, a sapling planting campaign was held within the framework of the project. Initially, the surrounding vacant land was cultivated and prepared for planting saplings at the faculties of automotive engineering and economics. After that, together with professors and employees of the institute, ornamental and fruit trees were planted in the area. In addition, representatives of the institute took an active part in the mass planting event held in the territory of New Andijan. During these events within the framework of the national green space project, more than a thousand fruit and ornamental tree seedlings were planted in the territory of the institute and New Andijan.
In the 2023-2024 academic year, about 1,700 young men and women were admitted to the Andijan Institute of Mechine Building Institute in 28 fields. Then more than 900 people started the educational processes in the direction of full-time education. From the beginning of the academic year, students got to know the conditions created for them at the institute. Since last week, the rector of the institute, Umid Turdialiyev, has been conducting face-to-face dialogues with the young people admitted to this studentship based on the established schedule. At the beginning of the meeting, the rector once again congratulated the students on their acceptance, spoke about the fundamental reforms in higher education, the wide opportunities created by our state for young people, and expressed the importance of the role of educational institutions in raising students as spiritually mature individuals. During the conversation, he gave a detailed explanation about the conditions in the institute and the educational system. After the lesson, he spoke in detail about such issues as clubs that can be used in free time, rational use of existing infrastructures, and material support. During the dialogue, which took place in an open and sincere spirit, the suggestions and comments of students, their problems and suggestions in education, sports, socio-economic and other fields were heard.
After the press tour, a press conference was held, which was dedicated to the news in the field of education and the summary of the work being carried out in the field of training qualified specialists, international relations, and providing students with accommodation.
It was noted that as a result of the reforms carried out in the higher education system by the rector of the institute Umid Turdialiyev in recent years, the process of training independent thinking highly qualified personnel has risen to a new level in terms of quality, educational institutions have been modernized and equipped with modern and advanced educational technologies. It was also noted that the implementation of digital technologies in the educational process and the provision of financial independence of institutions were achieved.
It should be noted that the institute has signed memorandums of cooperation with about forty higher education institutions of countries such as Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Malaysia, Italy, Turkey, Poland, USA, Bulgaria, China, India, Greece, South Korea and Portugal. , these contacts allow to achieve quality and efficiency in the educational system, exchange of mutual experience. In addition, as a result of mutually beneficial agreements concluded with the North China University of Technology and the Belarusian National Technical University, a "double degree system" was introduced based on joint educational programs.
As a result of cooperation, the institute is currently participating in 11 international projects. He is participating in one of them as a national coordinator, and in three others as a coordinator.
At the press conference, the rector answered in detail the questions of the participants regarding the integration of the institute with the auto industry enterprises, the newly opened directions and the expected results, as well as the planned work on increasing the scientific potential in the future.
At the Andijan Mechine Building Institute, a meeting of the Parents' Congress was held under the slogan "For a new life, for a new Uzbekistan" and in connection with the start of the new 2023-2024 academic year.
The rector of the institute, Umid Turdialiyev, who spoke there, thanked the parents for their visit and told a brief story about the history of the institute and its present day. He also emphasized that education and upbringing processes at the institute are carried out in constant cooperation and harmony with parents.
In addition, opinions were expressed about the credit-module system, the code of ethics, the conditions created for students, and the responsibility of parents.
Parents who are not indifferent to the fate of their child received answers to their questions from the management. At the same time, they wished great success to the hard work of professors and teachers who teach their children to acquire professional knowledge.
