For the last years, Andijan Machine building Institute has been carrying out systematic work in order to ensure quality education on the basis of entering the international rating level. In particular, activities are carried out in the following directions:
1. Implementation of monitoring in order to have an own place in international rating systems. 2. To expand international cooperation and on this basis: - Involvement of foreign professors and teachers in educational and research activities; - Organization of exchange of professors and teachers; - Increasing the weight of subjects taught in a foreign language. 3. Acceleration of activities on international level indicators of national rating. 4. Passing international accreditation as a test. 5. Updating the Institute’s website and bringing it up to international standards.
The institute started its efforts in 2021 to find its place in World University Rankings, High Impact Rankings and other rankings. At the initial stage, starting from the second half of 2021, It has been signed an agreement with the Green Metric World University Rankings rating agency, providing information to participate in this international rating. Andijan Machine Building Institute took the 792nd place in the world ranking in 2021 in the Green Metric World University Rankings. According to the ranking announced at the end of 2022, the positive changes made in the institute in terms of teaching-methodical, scientific-research, spiritual-educational and international relations, as well as the results of the scientific-methodical activities of professors and teachers, are deserved. As a result of the introduction of the incentive system and the focus on the development of social infrastructure, it rose 157 places compared to last year and took the 635th place. Moreover, Andijan Machine Building Institute ranked 1001+ in the rating of The Impact Rankings 2022.
Andijan Machine Building Institute operates as a full member of the Association of Technical Universities of the CIS countries, international agreements and memorandum of understanding have been signed with more than 55 higher educational institutions. Based on the signed memorandum and contracts, 21 leading employees and professors of the institute were sent on business trips in 2022.
A mutual cooperation agreement was signed between Andijan Machine Building Institute and Tara Robotic Automation Robotics Company. On May 26-27 in 2023, an official delegation headed by the rector of the institute, Professor U.M. Turdialiev, visited Tara Robotic Automation Robotics Company in Turkey. An agreement was reached with this company to improve the qualifications of professors and teachers of our institute, to allow researchers to engage in scientific research activities, to organize student internships, and to modernize educational laboratories with modern equipment.
