RECTOR'S ASSISTANCE TO YOUNG PEOPLE IN NEED

Ikromjon Ortikboyev said he understands information technology and expressed willingness to teach computer literacy to other young people in the district if a laptop computer is provided. Yesterday, the rector of the institute, Umid Turdialiyev, visited their home again and handed sewing machines and a laptop to their owners. "We are very grateful that they come to our home, listen to us and look for ways to solve our problems. Seeing such attention and care, we forget that we have disabilities, we feel reborn. Kindness, social support and recognition of our value give strength to our bodies," says Ikromjon Ortikboyev. Young people and their parents expressed their gratitude for such attention and care and are satisfied that the problems voiced at the meetings are being addressed.

"OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS FROM LOW-INCOME FAMILIES"

PRIVILEGE 1. According to the Regulations "On the provision of educational loans for study in higher educational institutions on a fee contract basis," adopted as an annex to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 318 of July 26, 2001 loans are granted to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, their parents or guardians, admitted to the higher educational institutions to study on a fee contract basis. Educational credits are granted for a period of up to 10 years for undergraduate students and up to 5 years for graduate students, taking into account the period of study in higher education institutions. The period of military service is not included in this period. For students from low-income families, 50% of accrued interest on the loan is paid by the district Employment Promotion and Social Protection Centers from the State Fund for Employment Promotion. Families eligible for this benefit are determined by citizens' self-governance administrations" in accordance with the current procedure for recording low-income families and assigning and providing them with material assistance.

PRIVILEGE 2. Free tuition and preferential admission to graduate school.

Educational benefits

  • starting from the new academic year the contract money for girls studying for a master's degree will be fully covered from the budget (200 billion soums for 23,000 girls);
  • every year 50 girls are sent to prestigious foreign universities for bachelor's and 10 for master's degrees;
  • the tuition contracts for members of low-income families and 150 orphaned girls (2.1 thousand girls in total) in each district will be paid from the local budget;
  • conditions will be created for distance learning for students with small children;
  • a target quota of at least 300 women in doctoral programs will be established each year;
  • at least 50% of the quota for women students will be allocated annually for specific sciences, technical and legal areas;
  • for the first time since the new academic year, seven-year interest-free loans will be introduced for girls studying at universities, technical colleges and colleges to pay for their educational contracts.

  • graduates of orphanages, students's homes;
  • young people deprived of parental care, taken under guardianship;
  • students from single-parent families (single mother or father);
  • students of a family in which at least one of the breadwinners is disabled of the first group or both are disabled of the second group;
  • young people with a group I or II disability;
  • young people who have served their sentences in places of detention;
  • students of a family on the "Unified Social Registry";
  • young people, one or both of whose parents are old-age pensioners;
  • married students;
  • students of families in which two or more students are under contract.

"ENABLING STUDENTS FROM DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THEIR STUDIES"

CONDITION 1. 2022-2023 academic year, students from families whose families are listed in the "Temir Daftar" decision of the Academic Council № 1, graduates of orphanages, students's camps, youth left without parental care, under guardianship, students of families in the "Unified Social Registry", students registered in the "Yoshlar daftari", "Ayollar daftari", "Mehr Daftari" and living in the student dormitory of the Institute, 50% discount on payment for accommodation established.
Students with disabilities are exempt from dormitory fees.
In addition, at the initiative of the Rector of the Institute, exemplary rooms of students are recognized as worthy according to the results of the contest "The most exemplary student dormitory" held quarterly in the student dormitory, and receive a certificate of the Rector.
