Within the framework of the project "Gender Sensitive Research and Teaching: Expanding Cooperation between Switzerland, Armenia, Georgia and Uzbekistan (2020-2023)", a seminar was held in the auditorium of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering of the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering. Professors Andrea Boskoboynik and Sibyl Lustenberger of the University of Fribourg, as well as Gulnora Abdullayeva, deputy governor of Andijan region, head of the department of family and women, and women working in higher education and various spheres took part in the seminar. The seminar was opened with an introductory speech by G. Abdullayeva, Deputy Khokim of Andijan region. After that we moved on to the main part and listened to lectures by Andrea Boskoboynik and Sybil Lustenberger. In their speech the professors presented the research conducted within the framework of the project conducted with the Center for Gender and Leadership Studies of Yerevan State University. This was followed by presentations on "How to Empower Women in Politics, Education and Economics", "Gender Impact in Research and Teaching: Why It Matters and How We Can Strengthen It", "Gender Impact Research" and "Teaching: A Series of Interdisciplinary Workshops for Researchers and Teachers". natural and social sciences" and "Women's Achievements, Opportunities and Current Challenges in Uzbekistan's Education System and Other Fields".

Taking into account that the role of women who have achieved success in the field of science is incomparable, in the course of organizing meetings of female students with our female scientists and recently active women in scientific research, our talented and eager female students will receive state scholarships, including the Presidential Scholarship , the scholarship named after I. Karimov, the Ibn Sina scholarship, the state scholarship named after Beruni, the famous scholarships of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the scholarships of famous scientists in Uzbekistan.

At the faculties of automobile engineering and economics of Andijan Machine-Building Institute, festive events were held with the participation of female students studying at the faculty and their parents. Speakers at the event noted that girls always stand out among students by their exemplary character, thirst for knowledge, activity in public affairs. After that the mothers of the group of female students, distinguished by their behavior, activity in studies and social activities, recognized by students and teaching staff, were awarded with letters of thanks from the deans of faculties.
