In cooperation with the administration of Andijan region and a number of sports federations within the framework of the program "New Breath" in order to form a healthy lifestyle among young people and popularize running, the Andijan regional stage of the marathon "Save the Aral Sea" was organized. Young sportsmen who are fond of running took part in the marathon. The competition, which started near the 48th secondary school of our city, ended at the threshold of the regional drama theater. A number of young people who courageously passed a long and difficult way and managed to come to the finish line among the first, were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts from the organizers of the competition. All participants who took part in this competition were presented with special certificates. The awarding ceremony was connected with a concert program. Promising singers of our region and students of the dance school served to raise the mood of those gathered at the event to a higher level with their creativity. In this marathon, the representatives of our university, although they did not get a place on the podium, but actively promoted a healthy lifestyle in our society.
