Cooperation has been established between U1 University of Korea and Andijan State Technical Institute.

In October of last year, Kim Hwan Sik, a professor at the Department of Architectural Engineering at U1 University in South Korea, visited the Andijan Machine-Building Institute.

At the meeting, issues of solving transport problems in urban planning, modern transport and logistics problems and their solutions, as well as studying the possibilities of academic exchange with the Department of Labor Protection were discussed, and a number of agreements were reached.

Yesterday, the president of the university, Kim Duk Hyun, the director of international relations, Bak Yong Hwan, the professor of the Department of Architecture, Kim Hwan Sik, and assistant, Jin Ijun, visited our institute.

They were met by the Acting Rector of the Andijan State Technical Institute, Suhrobjon Aliyev.

During the meeting, presentations were made on the conditions created in both institutions and the existing directions.

Discussions and negotiations were also held on further joint work in the fields of information technology, artificial intelligence, automotive engineering, mechatronics and robotics, as well as urban planning, the implementation of a program for the exchange of professors, teachers, and students, and scientific projects.

Following the negotiations, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed between Andijan State Technical Institute and U1 University.

For reference, the University was founded in 1994 and is located in the city of Yeongdong-gun, the central region of Korea. The institution has 26 faculties and trains specialists in more than 30 different specialized areas, including IT, architecture, social security, and education.
