At the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, in order to ensure the implementation of the tasks outlined in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 6, 2024, a presentation of the methodological manual "On Mechanisms for Organizing Work to Combat Illegal Trafficking in Psychoactive Substances among Youth in Educational Institutions" was held.

It was attended by first vice-rectors and deputy deans of higher educational institutions for youth issues and spiritual and educational work, professors and teachers of social and humanitarian departments, tutors, members of the "Qalqon" group, prevention inspector, psychologists. The team of the Andijan Machine-Building Institute also took part in the event via videoconference.

The presentation discussed the prevention of the trafficking of psychoactive substances among young people, the organization of spiritual and educational work, the improvement of the legal culture of young people and modern methods in this regard.
