The events were held under the motto "The Army of New Uzbekistan is the support of the country, the pride of our people" in connection with the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the 14 January - the Day of Defenders of the Motherland.
In order to increase the physical activity of students, widely involve them in mass sports, and educate them in the spirit of patriotism, teams of students from faculties who have gone to military service took part.
Participants competed on the conditions of a question-and-answer, pulling a bar and a rope, and lifting a stone.
In the end, the winners were the students of the Electrotechnical Faculty. The second and third places were also taken by students of the faculties of Economics and Intellectual Management and Computer Systems.
