A meeting was held at the Information Resource Center of the Andijan Machine-Building Institute on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the Armed Forces and the Day of Defenders of the Motherland.
It was attended by the winner of the XV Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the owner of the "Pride of Uzbekistan" Muzaffar Tursunkhojayev and the participant of the XVII Summer Paralympic Games in Paris Mashhurbek Abdusamatov.
At the beginning of the event, the head of the department of work with youth, spirituality and enlightenment of the institute Mukhtaramkhon Khalikova, the chairman of the trade union committee of employees and students Rasuljon Mamatov and the deputy chairman of the "Talaba" sports club Azamatjon Khaitov noted that special attention is paid to strengthening the health of the population through physical culture and sports, targeted training of athletes' reserves, and introduced the champions to the achievements in the field of sports.
After that, Asian and World, Paralympic champions and prize-winners Muzaffar Tursunkhojayev and Mashhurbek Abdusamatov told the students about their life path, entering the sport, the difficulties and obstacles in reaching the championship peaks, and the history of their medals. They also talked about further increasing the number of medals in the future, setting world and Olympic records, constantly raising the national flag.
During the event, the students asked the champions their questions and received interesting and meaningful answers.
