The international ranking of universities of the world according to the "UI Green Metric World University Ranking" has been announced.
According to the results of the rating, the Andijan Machine-Building Institute scored 6775 points worldwide, ranking 479th among 1477 universities in 95 countries, 10th among the republic's higher education institutions, and the Fergana Valley and Andijan Region ranked 1st.
For information, the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is a global environmental ranking of universities, conducted by the University of Indonesia since 2010.
The rating compilers strive to draw the attention of the scientific community to the need for a sustainable environmental development policy to address some environmental problems. The main rating criteria include indicators such as energy savings, rational use of water resources, waste storage and recycling, the use of environmentally friendly vehicles, and the area of green areas on campus.
The rating pays great attention to the indicators of educational and scientific activities conducted in this area.
The "green rating" has a number of undeniable advantages over other ratings.
The Andijan Machine-Building Institute has been participating in this ranking since 2021. The institute ranked 792nd in 2021 and 635th in 2022. In 2023, he achieved a high rating of 454th place.
In this year's ranking, the Andijan Machine-Building Institute took 479th place among 1477 higher education institutions from 95 countries.
Monitoring of data on rating indicators shows that the institute has achieved growth in almost all indicators compared to 2023. Based on the analysis of data for 2024, it should be noted that the overall growth of the institute amounted to 225 points.
