On November 16 - International Day of Tolerance, a round table discussion on the topic "Interethnic harmony and tolerance - eternal values" was held at the Andijan Machine-Building Institute.
It was attended by Deputy Deans of the Faculties of Electrical Engineering and Intellectual Control and Computer Systems, tutors, and students.
At the event, Nafisakhon Marakhimova, the deputy head of the regional department of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, Mufazzal Qodirova, a member of the "Ma'rifat" Propagandists Society, and Mukhtaramkhon Khaliqova, the head of the institute's Department of Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment, delivered presentations on the topic.
The speakers emphasized that religious tolerance has been an inherent noble quality of our people since ancient times, and that students should deeply understand that representatives of different nationalities live in harmony in our country, creating the foundation for interethnic accord, unity, and friendship.
