Faculty members from a leading Bulgarian university visit our institute

Ruse University "Angel Kanchev" of the Republic of Bulgaria specializes in training highly qualified specialists in the fields of nature, water resources, and ecology in the country. Currently, more than 10,000 students and doctoral candidates are studying at the institution. The university offers education in 50 bachelor's and over 80 master's specialties.

The Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering maintains regular academic cooperation with this university within the framework of the European Union's Erasmus+ international exchange program.

Recently, a group of representatives from this university visited the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering, including the Honorary Rector and Chairman of the General Assembly, Academician Hristo Beloev; Head of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies, Angel Smrikarov; and Stoyanka Smrikarova, the Coordinator of International Cooperation at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation.

The guests were welcomed by the heads of departments and chairs, led by Murodjon Sherboyev, the Vice-Rector for Information Technologies of the institute.

An initial meeting was held where the progress of cooperation and the results of joint activities within the framework of the Eurasian project on innovative educational technologies were discussed. Additionally, negotiations were held on priority areas for future cooperation between Ruse University and Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering, including the preparation of a joint educational project, development of a new collaborative scientific project, creation of mixed research groups, joint publication of articles in Scopus and Web of Science databases, implementation of teacher and student exchanges within the Erasmus+ program, and other matters.
