A competition of essays on the topic "How do I understand the threat of terrorism?" was held among students at the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering.
At the beginning of the competition, organized to enhance students' creative potential, strengthen their sense of patriotism, and develop a strong immunity against the influence of foreign ideas in their hearts, Mukhtaram Khaliqova, head of the institute's department for youth affairs, spirituality and enlightenment, and Ozodbek Ergashev, senior lecturer of the Humanities Department, provided brief explanations on the topic.
The essays submitted for the competition will be analyzed and evaluated by experienced professors and teachers from the Uzbek Language and Literature and Humanities Departments.
Through the written essays, the following aspects will be assessed: clarity and logical sequence of students' thoughts, comprehensive coverage of the topic, appropriate use of relevant facts and examples, suitability of personal opinions on the cited facts and examples, originality and distinctiveness from other essays, presence of artistic approach, and other factors.
The winners will be awarded at a celebratory event on the eve of November 17 - International Students' Day.
