Zhejiang Jinlun Electromechanic Co., Ltd. is one of the largest enterprises in the hydropower industry of the People's Republic of China, with over 60 years of experience.
The company has established the production of hydraulic units with a capacity of 2-15 MW in Uzbekistan. Additionally, the company plans to build hydroelectric power plants with a total project cost of $40 million in the Baliqchi, Buloqboshi, Bo'ston, Jalaquduq, Marhamat, Paxtaobod, Ulug'nor, and Xo'jaobod districts of the region. Currently, construction work is underway in all these areas.
As a result of the hydroelectric power stations becoming operational, it is anticipated that nearly 50,000 households in the region will be provided with uninterrupted electricity supply.
Today, Umid Turdialiyev, Rector of Andijon Machine-Building Institute, met with Hong Ouyang, the representative of this company in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the rector of the institute provided information about the work being carried out at the institution, existing programs in the energy sector, and joint educational programs planned to be organized in this field in the future.
The Chinese investors discussed the hydroelectric power stations being built in Andijon region and noted that hundreds of job opportunities will be created as a result of their operations, emphasizing the need for qualified specialists to fill these positions.
During the negotiations, an agreement was reached to establish cooperation between the company and the institute, including sending students interested in working at hydroelectric power stations to the company's main office for internships.
