The native language is the spirit of the nation

Following the conference, a cultural and educational event titled "Native language is the spirit of the nation" was held as part of National Values Week.

The event acknowledged the challenges overcome in establishing the legal status of the Uzbek language, highlighted the conditions created for the extensive use of our language's rich potential, and recognized the efforts made to elevate the state language to a new level.

Emphasis was placed on the fact that honoring our language, enhancing its status as the state language, raising its position in society, and nurturing the younger generation with respect for their mother tongue will always remain our vital spiritual duty.

It was stressed that to enhance the prestige of the Uzbek language internationally, we must contribute to its inclusion among developed languages based on national and universal concepts, and that this requires each of us to approach our language with profound respect.

During the event, poems and songs celebrating our native language were performed, and theatrical presentations were showcased.
