A meeting on the topic "Rights of Young Voters" was held at the Faculty of Intellectual Management and Computer Systems of the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering, as part of the "Elections and Youth" project.
The meeting emphasized that the gradual implementation of democratic reforms in our country and the introduction of relevant amendments and additions to the norms regulating the electoral process are creating a foundation for the development of a healthy competitive environment among political parties.
The event provided comprehensive information about the work being carried out in our country to hold high-quality elections on October 27 this year for deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and regional, district, and city Councils of People's Deputies. It also covered the role and important tasks of each political party in the process, their pre-election programs, as well as the rights of young people to participate in the elections.
Furthermore, to enhance participants' knowledge and skills regarding the voting procedure, the voting process on election day was thoroughly explained using practical demonstrations at a simulated polling station.
