Rector of the Andijan Machine-Building Institute Umid Turdialiev visited the University of Applied Sciences Merseburg during a business trip to the Federal Republic of Germany in July this year and met with the management of the institution.
During this meeting, the rector invited university officials to visit Uzbekistan.
Recently, Ms. Gabi Meister, Head of the International Office/Language Center of the University, visited the Andijan Machine-Building Institute.
Initially, a meeting was held with the participation of officials. Long-term cooperation issues between the two higher educational institutions were discussed. The opportunities created for the exchange of professors, teachers, and students were acknowledged.
In particular, it was noted that students are planned to be involved in exchange programs in March-April of the following year.
In addition, discussions were held on strengthening student exchange through the establishment of a joint educational program, consistently implementing reforms within the framework of academic mobility, preparing scientific programs and educational literature based on the experience of professors from partner institutions, and improving the qualifications of young scientists through internships.
At the end of the meeting, Ms. Gabi was introduced to the notable sights of Andijan.
