Great respect for the great hadith scholar

In our country, special attention is paid to studying the rich scientific heritage of our great ancestors, promoting it widely among our people and internationally, and most importantly, instilling it in the minds of our youth to further strengthen their love and loyalty to the Motherland.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that the decree of the head of our state "On the wide celebration of the 1200th anniversary of Imam Tirmidhi's birth" issued on August 19 this year became an integral continuation of these noble endeavors.

On the occasion of the scholar's birth anniversary, the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering, in cooperation with the regional branch of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment and the regional representative office of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, organized an event titled "Great Honor to the Great Hadith Scholar."

The first vice-rector of the institute Akmaljon Ermatov, the deputy head of the regional department of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment Nafisakhon Marakhimova, and the imam of the "Kholikberdiboy" mosque in Andijan, Ulugbek Nazirov, delivered speeches.

At the event, it was emphasized that studying the spiritual heritage left by our ancestors is crucial in all respects in today's information age, especially at a time when there is a struggle to capture people's minds and hearts. Additionally, it was stressed that it is necessary to become closely acquainted with our great thinkers and benefit from their priceless legacy.

The speakers presented information about the life of Imam Abu Isa at-Tirmidhi, his position in the Islamic world, and his works.

"If we study the life paths of our great ancestors and their works, there are great benefits for us. As the books of scholars like Imam Tirmidhi are studied with great interest throughout the Islamic world, we should set an example for everyone in this regard," says Ulugbek Nazirov.

During the event, excerpts from Tirmidhi's works were read.
