In recent years, our country has been paying special attention to ensuring citizens' constitutional rights in the field of freedom of conscience, and further strengthening the ideas of religious tolerance and interfaith friendship and cooperation in society.
Notably, the fifth direction of the Action Strategy for the Five Priority Directions of Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021 is dedicated to security, religious tolerance, and interethnic harmony. Several laws and regulations were adopted based on this strategy.
