Religious tolerance - a legacy from ancestors

An educational session on the topic "Religious tolerance - a legacy from ancestors" was held at the Faculty of Intellectual Management and Computer Systems of the Andijan Machine-Building Institute.

It was attended by Ulugbek Nazirov, the imam of the "Kholikberdiboy" mosque in Andijan city, Mukhtaramkhon Khalikova, a member of the Republican Society of Enlightenment Propagandists, and Makhmudjon Mukhtorov, the dean of the faculty.

During the discussion, it was emphasized that religious tolerance is an integral part of the spirituality and culture of the Uzbek people. It was noted that special attention is being paid not only to socio-economic and political spheres but also to further strengthening the bonds of friendship between different nationalities and ethnic groups living in our land, and establishing the principles of religious tolerance.

At the event, views were shared on the concept of tolerance, the roots, history, and current development of various religions in our country. Information was provided on the essence and tasks of interfaith relations, their legal foundations, historical aspects, potential conflicts in this area, and measures to resolve them.

At the conclusion of the roundtable, students expressed their gratitude and received answers to their questions.
