As previously reported, a group of professors and lecturers from the Andijan Machine-Building Institute are currently on a business trip to the People's Republic of China.
Our colleagues participated in the First Uzbekistan-China University Science and Technology Innovation Conference at the North China University of Technology.
The opening ceremony of the conference was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Technology of China, Jianqing Liyu, the Consul of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China, Bobur Yahyoyev, leaders of the North China University of Technology and Uzbekistan universities, as well as nearly 300 international faculty students.
At the conference, the rector of the North China University of Technology solemnly presented the "symbolic emblem" of the laboratories to be established in Uzbekistan universities to the officials of our delegation.
Afterwards, representatives of Uzbekistan universities gave brief presentations about their educational institutions.
In the second part of the conference, participants were divided into groups, and in seven thematic sessions, our institute's Vice-Rector for Information Technologies, Murodjon Sherboyev, the Head of the Department of Automation of Mechanical Engineering Production, Azamatjon Yusupov, the Head of the Department of Automotive Engineering, Dilyorbek Moydinov, and two professors-lecturers presented their reports.
During the conference, an agreement was reached on establishing joint scientific and innovative laboratories between the universities of China and Uzbekistan.
Notably, according to this agreement, the Andijan Machine-Building Institute was granted a license to open three innovative scientific laboratories.
