A memorandum of understanding was signed with Turin Polytechnic University at the forum

As we reported earlier, the first Uzbek-Italian educational forum was held at the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, aimed at further strengthening relations between the two countries in the field of higher education.

It was attended by representatives from the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research along with about 25 higher educational institutions under its jurisdiction, as well as rectors from more than 40 leading universities of our country.

The rector of Andijan Machine-Building Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences Umid Turdialiev, also participated in the forum.

More than 20 agreements and memorandums were signed within the framework of the forum.

In particular, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering and the Turin Polytechnic University in Italy, which provides for the promotion of mutual cooperation in educational activities and research in areas of common interest.

According to the memorandum, projects will be implemented to support the academic and professional training of undergraduate students, develop doctoral research programs in engineering, IT, and economics, form networks of international relations, and organize institutional events promoting scientific, technological, and entrepreneurial culture.

Additionally, the exchange of students, researchers, and professors, training sessions, internships, and seminars on predetermined topics, as well as the exchange of information, documents, and scientific publications, have been established.
