Scientific, cultural and educational event held

A spiritual and educational event dedicated to the 1200th anniversary of Imam at-Tirmidhi's birth and the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli's birth was held at the Information Resource Center of the Andijan Machine-Building Institute.

Students from the Faculty of Intellectual Management and Computer Systems participated in the event, which was organized in collaboration with the regional branches of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan and the Journalists' Union.

At the literary and artistic evening, Mukhtaramkhon Khalikova, head of the institute's Department of Youth Affairs, Spirituality, and Enlightenment; Barno Obidjon kizi, a member of the Writers' Union and a poet; Elmira Rakhmonova, a member of the Journalists' Union and a journalist; and Margubakhon Khotamova, a member of the "Ma'rifat" Propagandists Society, shared their thoughts on the topic.

The speakers presented information about the life of Imam Abu Isa at-Tirmidhi, his role in the Islamic world, and his works.

Information was also provided on the life and work of Makhtumkuli Firoghi, the Turkmen poet and philosopher who is considered the founder of the literary Turkmen language. Poems and ghazals were recited.

During the event, a presentation was held for the book "I Will Be a Soldier," published on the order of the Republican "Ma'rifat" Propagandists Society. Several copies of this book were donated to the institute's information and resource center.
