Andijan Machine-Building Institute organized an "Independence Lesson" and "First-Year School" event under the motto "Salvation is in education, salvation is in upbringing, salvation is in knowledge."
The event was attended by honorary professors and young scientists of the institute, as well as first-year students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Intellectual Management and Computer Systems.
The event was led by Mukhtaramkhon Khalikova, head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment.
During the Independence Lesson, Professor Abdujabbor Abdullaev from the Department of Information Technologies, Doctor of Economics; Associate Professor Erkin Kuldashov, Candidate of Economics; and senior lecturers Mukharramkhan Azizova and Feruzakhon Karimova from the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature spoke about the concepts of Independence and Motherland, explaining the achievements of the past thirty years through real-life examples. They also shared their own experiences, accomplishments, and spoke about their students, emphasizing that a person who has acquired knowledge will never be at a disadvantage.
Following this, the students took their oath. During the ceremony, first-year students were presented with symbolic student certificates and grade books by their teachers. The student who entered the institute with the highest score was awarded the symbolic "Key of Knowledge."
During the event, talented students performed poems praising the Motherland, freedom, and peace.
