The "Khan Atlas" week, initiated by the Family and Women's Committee, is being organized at a high level throughout our country, including in our region.
The beautiful and charming women of Andijan Machine-Building Institute are also actively participating in this week-long event, which aims to promote our people's national values and further increase respect for our customs and traditions.
At the event held on September 13, female teachers and students of the institute wore colorful traditional costumes made from atlas, adras, beqasam, and banoras fabrics, demonstrating how national textiles, customs, and traditions harmonize with rich spiritual values.
During the roundtable discussion, participants exchanged views on the uniqueness, naturalness, and elegance of our national fabrics - atlas and adras, as well as the refined taste and functionality of our national costumes. Information was shared about elegance, beauty, and spiritual qualities inherent in Uzbek women.
It was also emphasized that the culture, customs, traditions, and national costumes of the Uzbek people have a long history and are recognized by world civilization.
It should be noted that such events, which serve to awaken a sense of national pride in the younger generation, strengthen respect and interest in cultural roots, and form universal moral principles alongside national customs and traditions, are arousing great interest among everyone.
During the event, female students gave artistic performances.
