The joy of student life has been bestowed upon knowledgeable youth

Today, a new academic year has begun in higher education institutions across our country. On this occasion, like all other higher educational institutions, the Andijan Machine-Building Institute held a festive event called "First-Year School" with the theme "United we are one people, together we are the Motherland!"

The event was attended by the institute's leadership, newly admitted students, and their parents.

Speakers at the event acknowledged that in recent years, extensive reforms have been implemented to fundamentally transform the education sector in our country. It was noted that a consistent policy is being pursued to increase young people's access to higher education and to train modern, competitive professionals. Confidence was expressed that in the future, students would contribute to the country's development with their knowledge.

It should be noted that for the 2024/2025 academic year, a total of 1,677 applicants (including 964 full-time students) were admitted to 28 programs at the Andijan Machine-Building Institute. Of these, 200 students were awarded state grants.

During the event, on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of our independence, professors and teachers who have made significant contributions to educational, methodological, research, and spiritual-educational activities, and who have been working productively for many years, were awarded "Honorary Certificates" from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the institute's rector. Additionally, parents of a group of students who distinguished themselves through excellent behavior and active participation in institute life during the past academic year were presented with letters of appreciation from the institute's rector.

The ceremony concluded with an "Independence Lesson" in the auditoriums.
