The National Technical University of Belarus is considered the only higher educational institution with the status of "national" in the Republic of Belarus, and occupies a worthy place among the TOP-1000 in the international ranking of prestigious higher educational institutions of the QS World University Rankings.
The university has 16 faculties, 9 colleges, 6 institutes and 32 research laboratories, and more than 23,000 students study today.
Since 2018, the institution has mutually beneficial cooperation with the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering. During this period, the exchange of professors and teachers and students was organized, a number of scientific projects were implemented, international conferences were held, and a joint educational program for undergraduate and graduate courses was launched.
Yesterday, a delegation headed by the rector of this university, doctor of technical sciences, professor Sergey Vasilevich Kharitonchik visited the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute.
Vice-rectors of the institute Suhrobjon Aliyev and Ulugbek Madrahimov and other official leaders welcomed them.
A discussion dedicated to the development of future mutually beneficial cooperation was held with the participation of officials.
During the negotiations, opening of new joint educational programs, joint scientific, educational, sports and cultural events, exchange of students within the framework of academic mobility, opportunity to study at AndMI for BNTU students, organization and conducting of mutual internships of professors and teachers, as well as summer for AndMI students at the base of BNTU / the issues of holding a winter school and providing support for research directions and topics for postgraduate students were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to implement the above issues soon.
