Improving the environment for the formation of specialists and raising the quality of higher education is one of the main problems of today. For this reason, in recent years, the issue of comprehensive development of the education system and training of qualified personnel in our country has gained priority.
Fundamental reforms aimed at creating a flexible education system that meets the new requirements of global competition are being implemented. Special attention is paid to strengthening the material and technical base of higher educational institutions, introducing international models into the teaching system, improving the pedagogical process, improving the quality of teaching staff and activities, and establishing and strengthening international cooperation.
If we take the example of Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute, as a result of the opportunities created during the last five years, the scientific potential of the institute was increased from 18 percent to 40 percent, scientific laboratories were equipped with modern equipment, and a car service center was established.
As a result, it was possible to attract not only local but also foreign students to the institution.
Representatives of the consulting center "Educa conseil" of the Republic of Tunisia visited our institute in order to get acquainted with the created conditions.
The general manager of the center, Skander Bahri, and the customer service manager of the St. Petersburg office, Yulia Krasikova, inspected all the conditions and opportunities created for students at the institute, and talked with professors and teachers.
After that, the guests met with the rector of the institute, doctor of technical sciences Umid Turdialiyev, and said that in the future there is a possibility to send young people not only from Tunisia, but also from the countries of the African continent to the institute.
During the meeting, bilateral cooperation, study and living issues of foreign students who wish to study were discussed.
