In order to ensure the implementation of the decision of the head of state on November 16, 2022 "On additional measures for the further development and popularization of cyber sports", the "Institute Cup" tournament is being held among the students of the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute in the Counter Strike type of cyber sports.
A total of 32 strongest teams from all faculties took part in the tournament organized by the initiative of the vice-rector for information technologies and the Youth Union primary organization.
The semi-final matches were held on May 14 of this year. According to the final results of heated and uncompromising debates, "Imkon" of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, "TNT", "Black Lion", "Zero" of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering, "Comeback" of the Faculty of Economics, "Accounting", "Mash Tech" of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology and Intelligent Management and "IB and KT" teams of the Faculty of Computer Systems defeated their opponents and had the opportunity to participate in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
The quarter finals will be held on May 21 this year at 09:00 at the Incubation Center of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering.
We remind you that 10 cyber sportsmen who actively participated in the tournament and achieved high results will be accepted into the national team of the institute. They protect the honor of our institution in international and national e-sports tournaments.
