A memorandum of understanding was signed with Brest State University

As we reported, the first Uzbek-Belarusian professional education forum is being held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.

Rector of Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Doctor of Technical Sciences Umid Turdialiyev is also participating in it.

Issues of bilateral cooperation, including the development of the system of professional educational institutions, are being discussed during this forum.

Within the framework of the forum, meetings were held with the heads of a number of Belarusian higher education institutions, and bilateral cooperation issues are being discussed.

In particular, the rector of the institute Umid Turdialiyev met with the rector of Brest State University named after Pushkin Yuriy Golubev. During the meeting, the development of academic and educational cooperation on the basis of equality and mutuality and other issues were discussed.

At the end of the negotiations, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two higher education institutions.

Based on the memorandum, it is aimed to further enrich the training potential of the institute for the next five years. In particular, it is planned to develop and implement joint educational programs for the academic mobility of scientific and pedagogical staff in the form of internships, advanced training, and professional retraining, as well as exchange of graduate students, graduate students, and students in order to develop bilateral academic mobility. Development of joint educational programs, development of scientific cooperation, implementation of joint research and consulting activities, joint preparation and publication of educational, methodological and scientific literature, etc. are also defined. In addition, a Russian language center will be established at the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute in cooperation with the university.
