The first forum of Belarus-Uzbekistan professional education is being held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.
Among the rectors of 14 higher educational institutions of our republic, Umid Turdialiyev, the rector of the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering, is participating in it.
Issues of bilateral cooperation, including the development of the system of professional educational institutions, were discussed during the forum. During the discussions, 17 cooperation memorandums, agreements and road maps were signed.
In particular, an agreement was reached between the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering and the Belarusian National Technical University on the procedure for organizing the educational process within the framework of the implementation of the joint educational program.
According to the agreement, from the 2024-2025 academic year, in the undergraduate program Intelligent engineering systems, Materials science and new materials technology, Metallurgy (by types of metals), Welding technology and equipment, Materials technology (metal forming), Metal technology (by types of processes), Metal technology It is planned to accept applicants in the fields of (Foundry), Biomedical Engineering (technical means of diagnosis and treatment). Also, in the master's degree, training of specialists in metallurgy, machines and equipment, economy (by networks and regions) and intelligent transport systems was established.
Students studying in the joint education program study in the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering in the first and second stages, and in Belarus in the third and fourth stages.
