April 28 - in connection with the World Day of Labor Protection, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the Andijan regional stage of the republican competition "On the organization of public control over labor protection and safety" was held.
Labor protection representatives of enterprises, organizations and institutions, trade union employees and activists took part in the event held at the Andijan Regional Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.
Winners of the nominations "Best Organization", "Best Trade Union Committee", "Best Representative on Labor Protection", "Best Young Professional on Labor Protection" were awarded diplomas and souvenirs by the Regional Council.
Happily, Ibrahimjon Soliyev, fire safety instructor of the Department of Civil and Labor Protection of the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute, took the first place in the nomination "The best young specialist in labor protection" and won a ticket to participate in the republican stage of the competition.
It should be noted that the purpose of the competition is to prevent production-related accidents and occupational diseases, to increase the attention of employers to the issue of labor protection, and to protect the health of employees.
