Promotional activities on combating crime among young people were held

At the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute, a roundtable discussion was held among students and young people on the topic of "Combating crime and religious extremism" aimed at preventing crime and violations.

Vice-rector of the institute for information technologies Murodjon Sherboyev, head of the investigation department under the coordination department of Andijan internal affairs bodies, lieutenant colonel Shahrukh Mirzajonov, prevention inspector, major Izzatillo Kahhorovlar took part in it.

It was noted at the roundtable that all the necessary conditions are being created for young people to show their talents and abilities and receive quality education. It was noted that, unfortunately, there are young people who spend their time on useless things instead of taking advantage of such opportunities, as a result of which they fall into the path of crime.

Speakers expressed their opinions on the prevention of crimes and offenses, introduced the causes of the crimes committed and the conditions that allowed them to be committed, the reasons that led to their commission, on the example of criminal cases heard in court.

"Behind every student is the hope of parents and the trust of teachers. To justify this trust, you should spend the most beautiful period of your life, not on useless things, but on using your time effectively. Otherwise, you will have to enter the path of crime and answer to the law. As they say, the last regret is your enemy, don't regret later," Shahrukhbek Mirzajonov gave his advice.

During the event, students received answers from experts in the field on the topics and related problems they were interested in.
