Round table: Are HIV and tuberculosis a threat to human health?

On the occasion of the World Health Day, a roundtable discussion was held at the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute on the topic "Protection of young students from tuberculosis and HIV infection and prevention of drug use".

Zhanonakhan Mamadaliyeva, specialist of the Regional Center for Combating Human Immunity Deficiency Syndrome, Kholidakhon Nazarova, the doctor of the institute, Major Izatillo Kahhorov, inspector of crime prevention, gave a speech.

At the event, it was reported that more than 10 million people around the world suffer from tuberculosis, and the saddest thing is that although there is a cure for this disease, about 2 million people die prematurely as a result of it every year. It was noted that one of the reasons for this is that the population does not have enough information about tuberculosis.

Doctors gave medical information about the origin of tuberculosis, the future life of patients, the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in preventing any disease, and others.

Also, at the event, detailed opinions were expressed about the current indicators of HIV infection, prevention, as well as the harm of drug use to the human body.

During the event, special attention was paid to ways to catch the disease and how to avoid it, and students received answers to their questions.
