"Rector's Cup" competition in the PUBG MOBILE type of cybersport was held at the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute.
The purpose of this competition is to ensure the implementation of the decision of the head of our state on November 16, 2022 "On additional measures for the further development and popularization of cyber sports", to create an ecosystem for the safe development and popularization of cyber sports, to identify, select and select talented young people in this direction (selection ) and was held in order to direct them to professional cyber sports, train potential personnel for information technology and IT industry, and attract them to the field.
In it, more than thirty teams of four people each competed for the victory. The teams competed in the Lobby form on the card "ERANGEL" and "MIRAMAR".
At the final stage of the competition, the "Sirius" team of the Faculty of Economics won the first place. The "GLS" team of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics won the second place, while the "707*Esports" team of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology won the third place.
