#Condolences professor of the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute Abdulaziz Sotvoldiev, died at the age of 74.

Abdulaziz Sotvoldiev was born in 1950 in the city of Andijan. In 1971, he graduated from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor's degree in economics and organization of the chemical industry, and in 1977, a postgraduate degree. Also, in 1993, he graduated from St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance. Doctor of economics, professor.

Sotvoldiyev began his career as an assistant at the Department of Economics and Management of the Chemical Industry of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute in 1971-1974. In 1977-1990, he worked as the head of the department of Andijan regional labor organization center, senior teacher and head of the trade economics department of the Andijan branch of the Tashkent Institute of National Economy, and in 1993-1995, he worked as the vice-rector for scientific affairs of the Andijan Institute of Economics and Management. In 2011-2021, he worked as a professor of the departments of economy, production management and organization, and organization of industrial production at the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering. Since 2021, he has been teaching young people as a professor of the Department of Economics.

It should be noted that Abdulaziz Sotvoldiyev worked as the rector of the Andijan Institute of Engineering and Economics from 1995 to 2011 and made a significant contribution to the development of the higher education system and the training of qualified specialists.
