The winners of the Chemistry Olympiad were determined

Chemistry Olympiad was held between first and second level students at Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute.

Forty students took part in this science competition, which was organized in order to support promising young people studying at the institute, to realize their talents, and to provide close assistance in the way of effective launching of research and innovation activities.

At the Olympiad, the participants' knowledge was tested in three stages: test, interview and practical laboratory.

Eight students participated in the third final stage and performed practical work in the chemistry laboratory.

According to the final evaluations of the highly qualified jury, Izatillo Abduvahobov, a student of the 1st stage of Oil and Oil-Gas Processing Technology, won the prize by scoring the highest score.

Odina Kamoldinova, a 2nd-year student of materials science and technology of new materials, Dyorbek Ganiyev, a student of Labor protection and technical safety, and Maftuna Abduhamidova, a 1st-year student of mechanical engineering technology, equipment and automation of mechanical engineering production, took the second and third places.

According to the final results, 1.5 times the amount of the basic scholarship will be given to the winners of the first place, 1.2 times the amount of the basic scholarship for the second place, and 1 times the amount of the basic scholarship for the third place.
