In the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering, in connection with the Navruz national holiday, the championship of the institute was held among the teachers and staff in the sports of chess and checkers.
More than 30 masters of mental gymnastics took part in the competition held in order to ensure the implementation of the President's decision of January 14, 2021 "On measures to further develop and popularize chess and improve the system of training chess players".
According to the end of uncompromising and intense debates, Gulsorakhan Yusupova, the deputy dean of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics, and Gulchehra Umarova, a teacher of the Electrical Engineering Faculty, won the first place in checkers.
Dilfuzakhon Umarova, a teacher of the department of automation of mechanical engineering production, Mohidil Rasulova, a teacher of the automobile engineering department, Davlatkhan Muqimova, a teacher of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics, chess, Ma'murakhan Ergashevalar, a teacher of the Information Technology Department, won the second and third places in checkers.
Azizbek Sotvoldiyev, a teacher of the Department of Metrology, Standardization and Product Quality Management, was the winner in men's checkers, and Erkinjon Koldoshevlar was the winner in Information Technologies in chess.
The second and third places were awarded to Nazirjon Kadirov, Botirjon Tursunov, deputy dean of the Faculty of Intelligent Management and Computer Systems, and Karimjonov, M. Isaqjonov Karimkhojayev, teachers of the Department of Automotive Engineering.
Winners will be awarded on the eve of Nowruz holiday.
