In Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering, an archery competition was held in connection with Navruz national holiday.
About twenty young men and women archers participated in the competition organized by the "Student" sports club in order to meaningfully organize the free time of its students, to form a healthy lifestyle in our society, to ensure regular physical education and sports and to select talented athletes.
At the end of the fierce competition, Davron Habibullayev, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Economics, and Maftuna Ismoiljonovalar, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Intellectual Management and Computer Systems, won among the boys.
Ziyadullo Amirov, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics, Nozima Zhoraboyeva, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and Elmurod Olimov and Nilufar Jaloldinova, students of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering, won the second and third places, respectively.
Competitions in another type of sport are ongoing.
Winners will be awarded on the eve of Nowruz holiday.
