A roundtable discussion on "Consumer rights: problems and solutions and financial literacy" was held at the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute on March 15 - World Consumer Rights Day.
It was attended by the deputy head of the regional department of the Committee for the Development of Competition and the Protection of Consumer Rights, Nodirbek Tursunov, Abidjon Boltaboyev, department specialist Azizbek Abdiyev, and the dean of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics, Akmaljon Rahimov.
At the event, information was provided about the essence of the Law "On Protection of Consumers' Rights", its actual implementation, and the importance of the work being carried out to improve consumers' consumption and legal culture.
In addition, the necessary concepts were given to improve the legal awareness of young people in the financial sector, in particular, cases of violation of consumer rights in the field of financial services, which are becoming popular in recent times, to manage personal financial issues in marriage, and to protect oneself from financial fraud.
During the roundtable discussion, information was provided about the online Olympiad "Financially literate young consumer" held by the committee.
