A group of students of the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute visited the Republic of Karakalpakstan from March 4 to March 9.
Travelers started their trip with a visit to Moynak district. The first tourism object in Moynaq district is the "Ship Graveyard" tourist complex, where we can see the current state of the dried-up Aral Sea, which has become one of the global disasters, as a sea shore, a former shipping port, abandoned ships, soft soil of the beach, and shells.
Then he entered the museum and got acquainted with the previous state of the Aral Sea. In particular, in the video room, you can see how Osyotr fish are caught by fishing boats from the Aral Sea, canned fish is prepared from them, and the development of the fishing industry.
On the second day, the students visited the library built on the initiative of the mayor of Andijan region, the construction works carried out in Kegeyli district. Having familiarized with the conditions created there and the books in this library, a conversation was held with the young students.
They also visited the Karakalpakstan State Museum named after I. Savitsky, located in the center of Nukus. The employees of the museum gave information about historical exhibits, pictures and national costumes, ornaments and statues depicting Karakalpak culture.
"When I was a child, I watched programs about the Aral Sea on TV and dreamed of going and seeing it with my own eyes. And finally I achieved this dream. Together with my peers, I saw with my own eyes the way of life of the fraternal people, the cultural monuments there. All this made a great impression on me. I express my gratitude to those who created such an opportunity for us," says Hamidillo Akbarov, a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Students-young people had a great impression, pleasure and gained useful information during the trip.
