Yesterday, a delegation led by Abdilbayet Mamasidikov, rector of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after Botirali Sidikov, visited the Andijan Machine Building Institute.
During the visit, a meeting was held with the participation of officials of two higher educational institutions.
It was noted with pleasure that historical relations between the countries have been steadily developing as a result of the efforts of the heads of state of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in recent years, as a result of close friendly relations. . It was also noted that both sides have aspirations and wide opportunities for further expansion and deepening of cooperation.
In addition, the issues of establishing mutual cooperation of higher education institutions, increasing the academic mobility of professors and teachers, joint implementation of scientific research, and expanding the scope of competitive personnel training were discussed at the meeting.
As a result of the negotiations, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute and the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University.
It should be noted that this agreement will undoubtedly serve to further strengthen the cooperation between the two higher educational institutions.
During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the conditions created for students at the institute.
For information, Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University is located in Osh, Kyrgyz Republic and was founded in 1997. The university has 5 faculties, 3 colleges, and 1 vocational high school. Currently, about fourteen thousand students are studying at the institution in 23 higher education, 21 secondary vocational and 4 non-technical vocational directions.
