A roundtable discussion on the content of the law "On the status of a teacher" was held at the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering with the participation of professors and teachers.

Sukhrobjon Aliyev, vice-rector of the institute for academic affairs, Mukhtaramkhan Khalikova, head of the youth work, spirituality and enlightenment department, Sardorbek Zhoraboyev, judge of the Andijan inter-district court on civil affairs, and Sayidjakhan Isayev, a lawyer of the institute, gave a speech.

At the event, it was noted that the 21-article law defines the rights, obligations, basic guarantees of pedagogues' activities, payment of wages commensurate with their work, incentives and social protection principles. It was also noted in the document that the rights, honor, dignity and professional reputation of the pedagogue are under the protection of the state.

In addition, it is not possible to impose on the pedagogue the obligation to purchase goods and services, in particular, to deduct funds for goods and services from the salary without his written consent.

- Now pedagogues do not pay state duty when they appeal to the court. Therefore, with this law, additions were made to the Law "On State Duty" and it was determined that during the implementation of professional activities, in connection with the cases related to the protection of one's honor, dignity and business reputation, he will be exempted from paying the state duty in Civil Courts, says judge Sardorbek Zhoraboyev. . In addition, in the course of professional activity, a pedagogue is exempted from paying state duty when he appeals to administrative courts against illegal decisions of state bodies, actions (inaction) of officials that violate the rights of employees.

It should be noted that, according to the law, it is forbidden to engage a pedagogue in work unrelated to his professional activity, including landscaping and agricultural work.
