Professors and teachers of our institute took part in the international seminar

An international methodological seminar was held at the Osh Technological University of the Kyrgyz Republic on the topic “Information support of the scientific process: Scopus, RINC, eLIBRARY.RU, impact factor, Hirsch index and its priorities.”

It was attended by professors and teachers from the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute, Osh Technological University, Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agricultural Technologies, and Andijan State Pedagogical Institute.

At the seminar, the head of the department of science of the Osh Technological University Gulbarchin Israilova, the head of the department of accounting and auditing Ainura Khamzaeva, associate professor Asanbek Akmataliev and the head of the department of information technology of the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute Saidakhan Atadzhonova made methodological reports.

The event provided training in the use of Scopus and other similar platforms, which is the largest database containing summaries and information about references given in scientific journals, books and conference proceedings, as well as posting articles. Valuable information was also provided on the procedures for writing articles in scientific journals. In addition, lectures were given to expert professors and teachers on the selection of international journals suitable for writing an article, the stage of writing an article, literature review, addressing issues such as improving writing style.

It should be noted that Scopus provides comprehensive information on the results of global research in various fields of science, technology, medicine, sociology, arts and humanities, and also offers intelligent tools for tracking, analyzing and visualizing research.
