A round table was held at the Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute on the topic “Protecting youth from extremism - a factor of stability. Beware of spreading extremist ideas on the Internet!”.
It was attended by the head of the department “Work with Youth, Spirituality and Enlightenment” of the Institute M. Khalikova, the senior detective of the department for combating terrorism and extremism of the criminal investigation department of the Andijan Department of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel R. Olmasov, the senior detective of the criminal investigation Captain F. Sharafiddinov, the inspector of the institute Major Izzatilla Kakhkhorov and the head of the primary organization of the Youth Union of the Institute I. Kabulov.
In their speeches, the speakers noted that religious extremism and terrorism are condemned by the entire world community, and in our country, our country is fighting international terrorism, which threatens the fate of humanity, its development and prosperity. They also noted the practical importance of spiritual and educational activities in the struggle, the need to educate young people in the spirit of struggle against alien ideas and the role of future teachers in this.
In addition, detailed information was provided about the various unofficial religious movements operating illegally and secretly in our country, as well as throughout the world.
At the end of the event, a documentary film was shown showing the fate of our compatriots who fell under the influence of various unofficial religious movements due to their lack of religious knowledge and, as a result, today regret and repent.
