"SPZ-Bearings" Uzbek-Russian joint enterprise, located in Jalakuduq district, started its activity in 1986 as the Okhunboboyev bearing factory. This enterprise is the only factory in Uzbekistan that meets the demand for bearing products of various industries and sectors in Uzbekistan, in particular: mining industry, oil and gas industry, metallurgical plants, agriculture, thermal and hydroelectric power plants, automotive industry.
It has been operating as a joint venture since 2004. Today, several types of bearings and other assembly mechanisms for cars and spare parts for various industries are produced at this production facility.
Yesterday, a tour was organized to this plant for graduate students of Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering, who are studying in the fields of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Equipment and Automation of Mechanical Engineering Production, Materials Science and Technology of New Materials, Technological Machines and Equipment.
During the tour organized in order to help the graduates to find suitable jobs in the future, they got acquainted with the activities of the enterprise. The participants viewed the production processes.
Also, during the excursion, the students were given information about the history of the enterprise, its activities, types of products, and procedures for hiring employees. In addition, preliminary interviews were conducted with 7 students who expressed their desire to work at the factory.
