The International Scientific Research Center for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) of India was established in 1997 and is an autonomous research and development center of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The head office of the center is located in Hyderabad. The activity is carried out through 11 research centers, the main focus is on the development of national unique technologies and practical programs.
ARCI has also been focusing on collaboration with Indian and foreign laboratories, universities and industries to successfully achieve its goals.
To date, ARCI has successfully transferred 32 technologies to 46 recipients.
